Superstars often turn their attention to other endeavors when they are absent from WWE TV. Something similar has been going on with the former United States Champion MVP. The 50-year-old star provided an update to his fans about his life recently, and it is quite positive. The former Hurt Business member tried his luck in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and he has found success with flying colors.

Recently, MVP shared the positive news with his fans, announcing that he has officially achieved a black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. In fact, he revealed that he is planning to compete in tournaments as well from now on. This is a huge feat for Mr. 305 amid his WWE hiatus.

The former Tag Team Champion has not competed in the WWE ring since 2022. His last stint was with Omos, which was pretty lackluster. Earlier, it came to light that MVP had stem cell therapy during his time off from WWE.

Besides, he was in the headlines recently for his bold claims against Triple H. He even accused The Bloodline of stealing the Hurt Business gimmick in WWE. As of now, there is no expected timeline to see the return of Mr. 305 in WWE. As of last night, MVP was removed from the promotion’s internal roster and is expected to leave the company.

MVP talked about his recent run in WWE after returning in 2020

MVP came back to WWE in 2020 at the Royal Rumble. It was a shocker for everybody, as no one expected to see him back in the Stamford-based promotion. Even the former United States Champion had some other plans before his golden run, as he talked about in a previous interview.

Speaking with Chris Van Vliet, the 50-year-old revealed that he was planning to retire from WWE before the pandemic. He said that he was happy working as a producer before WWE pitched him an on-screen role. Thereafter, it all ignited a fire in him to indulge in one more run in the company for his family and his fans.

It's great to be here [in WWE]. It's funny. because I was telling a friend of mine a while back I was going to retire, I just wanted to come back so my son could see me and then I became a producer. Then the pandemic hit and [WWE asked], 'Hey can you help us out with talent?'
