LACEY, Wash. -- A young coyote pup will live to howl another day.
A baby coyote stuck in a storm drain was rescued by Lacey officials on Wednesday. The City of Lacey was called out to rescue the pup from a drain near Britton Parkway, and photos posted on Facebook show the pup's rescuer holding it following the rescue.
There's no word yet on how the coyote managed to get stuck, who alerted officials, or where the coyote will be released.
