A high school teacher, Rikki Lynn Laughlin, from St. James, has been arrested for sending nudes to a minor 16-year-old male student and asking the same from him. The 25-year-old teacher was charged with possession of child p*rnography, tampering with a witness, tampering with physical evidence, attempted statutory r*pe in the second degree, promoting obscenity in the first degree, and furnishing p*rnographic materials to a minor. She called the minor student over to her house when her husband was not at home for sexual engagements.

Rikki Lynn Laughlin, a 25-year-old high school teacher, is under critical investigation for severe charges. She is booked for possession of child p*rnography, tampering with a witness, tampering with physical evidence, attempted statutory r*pe in the second degree, promoting obscenity in the first degree, and furnishing p*rnographic materials to a minor.
After the preliminary investigation, police found nudes of a minor and lewd text messages that implied Laughlin grooming the young student. The two majorly conversed on Snapchat.
As per Missouri state law, the age of consent is 17 years old. In her “defense,” if you can call it that, Laughlin mentioned that she was unaware that he was only 16 and not older.
The school district Superintendent, Tim Webster, said–
“The District takes these matters seriously and reported allegations to appropriate outside agencies, including law enforcement.”
“Our top priority remains the safety and well-being of our students, and we do not tolerate any policy or law violations within our educational community.”

According to the police officials, Rikki Lynn Laughlin fully cooperated during the interrogation and revealed all the events that transpired.
The police also revealed that it was Laughlin who initiated the conversation with innuendos and solicited nude pics from the minor. She first sent her explicit pictures to the 16-year-old and asked for pics in return. She snapped him with her video using a d*ldo on herself.
Some conversations also expose the teacher calling the minor to her house when her husband was not at home.
