Surprisingly, Jordan Love is getting a lot of playtime over his teammate Aaron Rodgers at the QB position and he is decent at it. With the recent controversy surrounding Rodgers’s retirement, coach Matt LaFleur has put his faith in Jordan Love.
After the Packer’s win against the New Orleans Saints, QB Jordan Love has won over the support of the fans and most importantly coach Matt LaFleur.
“I know the numbers don’t necessarily reflect probably how I feel,” LaFleur said. “He stood in the pocket and was throwing on rhythm. Unfortunately again we had too many drops.”
“He was decisive. I think that’s the big thing from him,” LaFleur continued. “I see a much more decisive player out there. I think that’s going to lead to a much more effective player.”
Is Jordan Love ready to be the No.1 QB at the Packers over the reigning MVP Aaron Rodgers? Colin Cowherd thinks otherwise. Cowherd thinks that instead of Jordan Love the Packers could have drafted a quality WR, a position that the Packers lack due to the recent transfer of Davante Adams to the Raiders.
According to Colin Cowherd, Jordan Love is decent he has a fifty percent pass completion rate but he is no Rodgers. The MVP has a habit to criticize and take ‘shots’ at the Packers in interviews and press conferences and there’s also the situation regarding his retirement.

Jordan Love had a great game against the Saints where he went 12 for 24 for 113 yards and scored one touchdown which led to a win for the Packers with a score of 20-10.
Jordan Love is in his year three of his NFL career and he still hasn’t put up any substantial numbers. Cowherd also pointed out that he didn’t play a lot in college compared to Kyler Murray. “Talent rises quickly, you got it or you don’t” Colin Cowherd stated on the Herd.
Love is currently the backup QB in the Packers team behind Aaron Rodgers ad he would like some more game time to improve himself. Jordan Love is looking different from the past season and has improved considerably. With the future of Aaron Rodgers in turmoil, the Packers should give a decent run to the QB who’s got something to prove.
