Brazilian singer, Shakira and Barcelona footballer, Gerard Pique have officially announced that they have separated after 12 years of dating. The duo also has two children, Sasha Piqué Mebarak, and Milan Piqué Mebarak. Pique met Shakira during the 2010 World Cup and the duo started seeing each other soon after.

Shakira is yet to make an official statement on the matter. Her agency announced the separation and asked for privacy from the media. However, since the revelation of the situation, many others have spoken up about the Spanish defender and his antics. One such is an Instagram influencer, Miss BumBum.

Suzy Cortez, recognized more popularly by her stage name, Miss BumBum said that Gerard Pique was the one who texted her the most among all the Barcelona stars. “He was the one who sent me the most direct message. The only Barcelona players who never sent me anything were Messi and Coutinho. They are great husbands and respect their wives very much. Shakira didn’t deserve this,” Cortez said
She further claimed, “I was a friend of the former president of Barcelona, Sandro Rosell. When Piqué found out, he asked me for my number, at that moment, and sent me a message. When I returned to Brazil, he sent me straight to my Instagram, which I deleted every day, asking me when I would return to Europe and always asking me how much my ass was and saying that I was jealous of my tributes to Messi.”
Suzy revealed that she had kept quiet for so long out of respect for Shakira but felt it was time now to tell her story.
