India’s captain Rohit Sharma is not part of the first match of the ongoing three-match ODI series against Australia. Why he did not play today’s match at the Wankhede stadium in Mumbai is because he attended his brother-in-law Kunal Sajdeh’s wedding. In his place, all-rounder Hardik Pandya is leading the side.
Today, on Friday (March 17), a video surfaced on the internet. In that video, Rohit could be seen dancing with his wife Ritika Sajdeh to the song ‘Laal Ghagra’ at the wedding. The video has taken the internet by storm with many fans praising his dance skills. The function reportedly took place on Thursday night in Mumbai.

Last month, when the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced the squad for the three-match ODI series, it announced that Rohit will be unavailable due to personal reasons. He had announced the BCCI about the wedding back then. After the Test, it was learned that Rohit’s unavailability is due to the wedding.

The third ODI is scheduled to take place on Wednesday (March 22) at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. After the wrapping up of the ODI series, players will join their respective teams for this year’s Indian Premier League (IPL), which will start on March 31.
Meanwhile, in the ongoing match, India have won the toss and decided to bowl first. With the help of Mitchell Marsh’s 81, Australia have been bundled out for just 188 runs in 35.4 overs. Apart from Marsh, other batters failed to cross even the 30-run mark.
Mohammed Shami and Mohammed Siraj have bagged three wickets each, while Ravindra Jadeja got two and Kuldeep Yadav and Hardik Pandya got one each.
